As an occupational therapist in the Londonderry School District, I work with children in  the general education classroom and in the special education setting.  Occupational therapists in the school setting support children by working on the underlying foundational skills necessary for academic success.  These skills include gross motor skills, fine motor skill development, visual perceptual skills as well as executive functioning skills that include planning and organizational skills.
