Welcome To Mrs. Lownie's Page
My name is Mrs. Lownie and I am a Title 1 Math teacher at South
School. The Title 1 Math program is designed to reinforce the skills
that are taught in the regular classroom. These skills are taught
through interactive games and acitivites. Title 1 Math students are
taught in small groups by certified teachers in order to maximize
learning, enhance self-image and help students develop a positive
attitude toward math and learning.
I encourage my students to practice their math facts on a regular
basis. I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to practice their
facts.
