My name is Karen Ouellette. I am an occupational therapist for the
Londonderry school district with my homebase at South Elementary school.
I work with and supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
(COTA/L) Alison Lovejoy. Occupational therapy is located in room
101/128. I also work at Londonderry Middle School. I work with and
supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/L) Elizabeth
Sanville at LMS.
have worked in the field of Occupational therapy since 1979. I received
my bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from the University of New
Hampshire. I also hold a Masters degree in education from Salem State
College. I have worked in the Londonderry school district for about 13
years. My experience includes pre-school and early intervention as well
as medical rehabilitation. I have primarily worked in the public school
setting in recent years. My specialty area is pediatrics with a
certification in Sensory Integration.

As an occupational therapist in the Londonderry School District, I work
with children in the general education classroom and in the special
Occupational therapists in the school setting support children by
working on the underlying foundational skills necessary for academic
success. These skills include gross motor skills, fine motor skill
development, visual perceptual skills as well as executive functioning
skills that include planning and organizational skills.
