                                                     2018 Youth Art Month Exhibit

MARCH is National Youth Art Month! Schools around the United States are celebrating the visual arts in education with student art shows in local and state exhibits. We are pleased to announce that the following South School students have artwork on display in the Leach Library Children’s Room this year. Congratulations to: Brayden Webster, Shealeigh Eastman, Cooper Freitas, Ava Bull, Jack DiBuono, Alyson Dionne, Gabriel Dygd, Jillian Willwerth, Shana Hatfield, Julia Morrison, Dylan San Antonio, Jack Collins, Alanna O’Donnell, Benjamin Hill, Emerson Dodge, Owen Dutil, and Madison Gehalo. We hope you will have a chance to check out the exhibit which is open to the public from March 2-30 during regular library hours.

 2018 Art Annual Book

Congratulations also to the 4th and 5th grade students whose black and white drawings will be featured in the South School chapter of the 2018 Art Annual Book. These students will each receive a copy of the book towards the end of the school year to commemorate their achievement in the visual arts. They are:  Reya Rivera, Madison Couturier, Abigail Bailey, Isabella Zemetres, Jonathan Martin, Mingcan Kai Hou, Mason Lindholm, Ellie King, Ella DiBuono and Jason Shanley.
